Applications now being accepted for new City of Toronto Waste Reduction Community Grants Program

The City of Toronto is now accepting applications for its new Waste Reduction Community Grants Program. Grants of up to $25,000 are available to support innovative community-based projects that reduce residential waste and increase participation in the City's waste diversion programs.

"It's very important that we engage residents in reducing waste across the city,” said Councillor Jaye Robinson (Ward 25 Don Valley West), Chair of the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee. "Reducing waste, especially in apartments and condo buildings, is a priority for the City and these grants will support innovative ideas for waste diversion."
