Snow Clearing Updates – Mar 2, 2016 – 3:00 pm

Forecast as of 3:00 pm:
The flurries have tapered from the snowsqualls off of Georgian Bay. Breezy winds with gusts up to 50 km/h will linger through the afternoon. Dry conditions will continue for the rest of today through to tonight. A weak disturbance associated with a clipper will move in with just on and off flurries for Thursday morning before the clipper moves in with flurries beginning in the afternoon lingering through to Friday morning with only 1-2cm expected.

Salters began spreading 10:00am ongoing until completed

Second round deployed back to back plowing and salting as routes complete. beginning approx 8:00am estimated completion 8pm

Bus Stop and Crosswalk clearing equipment scheduled to be re-deployed 7:00pm
