Metrolinx is building the Eglinton Crosstown, Toronto’s new 19-kilometre light rail transit (LRT) line that will run along Eglinton Avenue with a central 10 km underground section.
As part of the marketing strategy to actively promote businesses along Eglinton Avenue before, during and after construction, we are launching a social media contest. We invite you to participate and get a chance to win prizes.

Metrolinx Accessibility Public Meetings
Once again, Metrolinx will be hosting its annual series of public meetings across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area about accessibility.
We want to hear from members of the public about the accessibility of GO Transit, PRESTO, UP Express, and our new and upcoming Rapid Transit services and projects. The meetings in Hamilton and Whitby will be joint meetings with the City of Hamilton and Durham Region Transit respectively, so participants will also have the opportunity to discuss the accessibility of municipal transit at those meetings.
Metrolinx, an agency of the Province of Ontario, has completed an Environmental Project Report (EPR) in accordance with Ontario Regulation 231/08 for the Caledonia GO Station. The new GO Station will be located on the Barrie rail corridor in the City of Toronto and will be integrated with the future Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (ECLRT) Station at Eglinton Avenue West and Croham Road (west of Caledonia Road), adding regional connectivity to the ECLRT and the Toronto Transit Commission bus network.

METROLINX - TRANSIT PROJECT ASSESSMENT PROCESS
Metrolinx, an agency of the Province of Ontario, is working to transform the way the region moves by building a fast, convenient and integrated transit network across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) and Simcoe County. Part of this plan is to bring frequent and reliable service to communities along the Barrie rail corridor.
Current plans include electrified, two-way, all-day service every minutes to Aurora as well as peak, midday, evening and weekend GO train service to Allandale Waterfront GO Station. The service increase will be phased in over 10 years while we build additional infrastructure.
To support this service increase, Metrolinx is proposing a new GO Station on the Barrie rail corridor within the City of Toronto. The Caledonia GO Station will be integrated with the future Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit Station at Eglinton Avenue West and Croham Road (west of Caledonia Road), adding regional connectivity to the Crosstown and the Toronto Transit Commission bus network.

2015 Accessibility Public Meetings
Metrolinx is inviting you to participate in our 2015 Accessibility Public Meetings that will take place across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. We want to hear from you about the accessibility of GO Transit, PRESTO, UP Express, and our upcoming Rapid Transit services and projects.
I’m writing to advise you about several service changes coming to the GO network.
Starting January 3rd, 2015 GO will be adding more train and bus trips and making some service adjustments to meet changing ridership demand. These changes will help provide more comfortable and convenient service for our customers across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA).
