City of Toronto announces 2016 Clean Toronto Together campaign

The City of Toronto today announced the launch of its 2016 Clean Toronto Together campaign. Each year, tens of thousands of Toronto residents along with schools, businesses and community groups take part in the spring cleanup to help keep the city clean and green.

Clean Toronto Together is a month-long litter removal program that includes City divisions cleaning streets, parks and watercourses, culminating during the April 22-24 weekend, when more than 1,000 community-led cleanups will take place in public spaces across the city.

Ford_cover

I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my friend Rob Ford: husband, father, City Councillor, and former Mayor of Toronto.

My thoughts and prayers are with his wife Renata and their two children, as well as Rob’s brothers Doug and Randy, his sister Kathy, his mother Diane, and the entire Ford family.

He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Rest in Peace.

Cesar Palacio
