Light snow will develop early this morning, mixing with ice pellets in the early afternoon before changing to all rain by around 1400 this afternoon. Snowfall amounts of 3-5cm is possible. Rain will continue through the overnight before changing back to flurries Thursday morning and tapering off in the early evening. An additional trace to 2cm is possible. Wind gusts of 50-65 km/h is possible Wednesday afternoon into the evening. Temperatures will remain around 0C this morning for the event.

Snow Clearing Updates – Feb 23, 2016 – 8:30 pm

Forecast as of 8:00 pm:
Dry conditions will continue through the evening. A new system approaches with flurries developing over the region by the mid-overnight before intensifying briefly to light snow into early Wednesday morning with snow totals from 3-5cm. Warmer air will move in changing the snow to a rain/snow mix for the afternoon through to the evening before cooler air moves back in changing it back to light snow for the overnight into early Thursday morning before tapering to flurries by the mid-morning with another 1-3cm possible. Wind gusts of 50-65 km/h is possible Wednesday afternoon into the evening.
