Transparency, accountability, financial sustainability, and fairness will remain key issues that I will continue to demand with energy and determination on behalf of all hardworking taxpayers. You can be assured that I will continue to speak loudly and advocate for a socially progressive and a fiscally responsible agenda.
My top priority is Ward 17. I strongly believe that your input is crucial in order to obtain a better understanding of what issues need to be tackled in our community. I hope that you will write, e-mail, or call my office to share your good ideas and let me know how I can serve you.
I have served on notable Standing Committees at City Hall including Public Works & Infrastructure, Government Management and Planning & Growth. In 2010, I was asked by the former Mayor Elect to serve on the City's Executive Committee and Chair of the City Licensing and Standards Committee and more recently, in 2014, I was hand-picked by the newly elected Mayor to once again join the Executive Committee and retain my position as Chair of the Licensing and Standards Committee.
Friends, we have succeeded, over the years, with many accomplishments by working in partnership; partnerships that include community organizations and residents at large! Together, we have created a network that makes our community stronger and much better! When you speak – I listen! I am committed to working both for you, and with you, to make our community greener, cleaner, safer, affordable and prosperous. Looking forward, as always, to "GETTING MORE THINGS DONE" for Davenport.
Remaining humbly at your service!
